Are you still sending PDF invoices electronically? With cybersecurity risk increasing, is your business seeking a safer, secure and more efficient way of invoicing your clients and customers? 

Businesses of all shapes and sizes should consider e-Invoicing. Whether sending a few invoices a year or hundreds a week, taking advantage of a safe and secure invoicing platform will assist in increasing efficiencies, reducing errors and mitigating external risks. 

Join the ATO for this session to recap e-Invoicing and the developments in Australia. Hear from Xero and Intuit as they share client experiences and benefits resulting from implementation.

He works with business, industry and technology partners to find ways to facilitate and accelerate economy-wide adoption and use of the Peppol network and standard leveraging his background in digital communication and his experience in large transformation projects like SuperStream, Single Touch Payroll and the Modernising Business Registers program.

Shaye Thyer FCA

Shaye is an outside-of-any-box CA with a diverse and notably non-traditional accounting career to date in Australia. Recently, she was responsible for creating a future-fit accounting division for a large national firm delivering a premium client experience. Using technology to optimise internal efficiencies, data to power client insights, training to transform the team, and scalable frameworks to amplify the huge depth of expertise withing the firm, she is proud of the huge inroads she was able to make in shattering the traditional mid-tier accounting practice stereotype and setting the firm apart from its competitors. 

Simon Foster
Product General Manager, Xero 
Simon is a technology entrepreneur with experience across Europe, Asia Pacific and North America. He has garnered more than 25 years’ experience working for early stage and high growth technology startups, mid-size enterprises and multi-nationals. Working across a number of key roles over this time has allowed Simon to develop a significant understanding of the technology landscape, including specialist knowledge of data security, scanning and invoice transfer and the ERP & accounting ecosystem.

Preparing for the Zoom Session 

48 hours prior to session start time you will receive and email to register your details to give you access to the Zoom Session. Ensure you enter your first name, last name and email address as entered in your CA ANZ event registration. Approximately 15-30 minutes prior to session start time (relevant to your local time zone), ensure you have the software or application installed. When connecting on computers you will be prompted to download the software for Zoom if you have not already. To download, click on the link that you have been provided to join the session, it will take only 2-3 minutes to download. If you are planning on watching it on your phone, please download the Zoom application. Please note: If you are accessing this event from your place of work, it is imperative to check that you can access the Zoom platform. You may need to use a personal device.
