Content Description:

We have heard for years that "not documented means not done". But does this mean absolutely everything must be documented? Given the auditor is allowed to exercise judgment about the extent of documentation, there must be some latitude, but finding the right documentation balance continues to present challenges for auditors.

During this session, we explore the expectations on auditors about their documentation and shares insights on how to manage those expectations. Through examples, we will guide attendees in practical ways to efficiently address mandatory requirements, including exploring relevant concepts such as significant matters

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this webinar series you will be able to:

  • Identify the correct tools to assist you in documentation within your audit files and how you can practically address mandatory requirements
  • Document concepts such as significant matters that arose during the audit with confidence
  • Exercise appropriate judgment about the extent of documentation required during your audit procedures

Benefits

Attendees will have the tools to assist in maintaining quality audit engagements through the use of practical issues and examples.
