This program is particularly useful for anyone who seeks to obtain ‘buy-in’ through writing. Whether email, letter or memo or other. It is particularly useful for accountants, engineers and other professionals who are time poor and need to convince colleagues, clients and others quickly and effectively.
Technology is a wonderful thing – and yet our reliance on email and other forms of written communication have led to inefficiency and information overload.

This course introduces you to the idea of using a framework for structuring your written communication that could be used for anything from a short email asking a colleague to provide some information for reporting purposes to a complex business case requesting a board to approve the expenditure of a significant sum of money – and everything in between.

In this course you will explore the two tools available to elevate and refine your business writing. Starting with structure to ensure you’re adopting the most influential approach in your writing, and then focusing on expression to make sure your writing is as clear and effective as possible.

You will experience a shift from an accidental writing process with a haphazard impact on the reader, to a structured persuasive writing process that guarantees understanding between writer and reader.
