Steve Sammartino

Steve is Australia’s leading futurist. As media commentator on the Future Steve is in demand and appears weekly on National TV in Australia. Last year he spoke to 100,000 people in 14 countries. He writes extensively on the technology revolution.

He is the author of 3 best-selling books, his latest - ‘Think Like a Startup’ – is a manifesto on the future of work. His latest projects include a National TV show called Rebound Business School - and he is 3D printing the world's most modern house, the subject of a new Netflix documentary.

Marcus Bowles, Managing Director and Chair of The Institute for Working Futures 

Marcus is a consultant, researcher, and educator supporting organisational, education and workforce transformation projects. As director of The Institute for Working Futures pty. ltd. for over 25 years, Marcus has successfully delivered over 260 major consultancies in foresighting, workforce capabilities, assessing human capital, and designing responsive educational curriculum.

Marcus has an extensive list of books, journals and publications. He holds honorary professorial appointments at University of Tasmania and Macquarie University. His research has led to EdTech start-ups that have obtained commercial success and global awards. Marcus holds a number of appointments to private and professional national boards.

Amanda McIntyre, FCA, Defence Lead Partner 

Amanda is a Partner in PwC’s Government and Public Service Consulting practice, and leader of our National Defence and Defence Industry practice. She has more than 20 years' experience working within and advising Commonwealth agencies, focusing on assisting them to transform and build efficient and effective business functions, achieve financial sustainability and build capability. 

Prior to joining PwC, Amanda was the Chief Financial Officer for the Federal Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Amanda is also a member of the DFAT Australia Award’s Women in Leadership Program Steering Committee.

Michael Priddis, CEO Faethm AI, Member, Global AI Council, World Economic Forum 

Michael founded Faethm in 2016 to be the world’s data source for the Future of Work. 

Faethm’s four AIs and SaaS platform delivers data and insights that describe the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in every industry in 152 countries, and on 2 billion people. Faethm’s new Resilience module is being used by companies and governments to manage the impact of COVID19 and the resulting recession on workforces and industries globally. 

In February 2018 Faethm was one of the first companies worldwide to be invited to join the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution; recognition since then include The Australian Computer Society’s Gold Disrupter award and the UK Government’s Tech Rocketship award for AI.

Alongside leading Faethm’s scale-up globally Michael also serves on WEF’s Global AI Council. Before founding Faethm Michael was Partner and Asia Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group’s technology innovation practice, Digital Ventures. He was previously founder and CEO of S&C, an award-winning product development company that was acquired by BCG.

Marcia Devlin, PhD, GAICD, Adjunct Professor, Victoria University Business School 

Adjunct Professor Marcia Devlin is a former University Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President. A registered psychologist, she is globally recognised as an education and learning specialist. She is frequently commissioned by governments, businesses and professional bodies to undertake consultancy, research and analysis and invited to deliver keynote addresses, workshops and seminars, to sit on expert panels and to coach and mentor leaders.

She was the Australian Institute of Management Victorian Leader/Manager of the Year, has won the National Women’s Agenda Leadership Award, and has been honoured as a state finalist for Telstra Business Woman of the Year.

Ainslie van Onselen, CEO, CA ANZ

Ainslie is an experienced, strategic executive with an extensive background across financial services, as a litigation lawyer and with various listed, government and not-for-profit organisations, including membership bodies. 

Prior to joining CA ANZ, Ainslie held a number of senior roles over six years at Westpac Group, including Managing Director of RAMS, Chief of Staff to the CEO and General Manager of Deposits & Unsecured Lending. She was also the Global Director of Women’s Markets and Inclusion & Diversity.

Ainslie has more than 20 years’ experience as a Non-Executive Director. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at financial services company Automic and the commissioner of Legal Aid NSW.

Simon Hann, Group Executive for Education and Learning, CA ANZ 

In his role as Group Executive for Education & Learning, Simon is focused on further developing and embedding the relevance of the CA Program for the profession, and reforming the way current and future learners enter and progress through the program and their professional development throughout their careers as a Chartered Accountant.

Simon was recently Chief Executive Officer for six years at the corporate education arm of Deakin University, DeakinCo. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer at Salmat Learning, tasked with leading strategic and creative e-learning solutions.

Simon was President of the eLearning Industry Association for five years and a Non-Executive Director of Learning Seat for four years.
