Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits - eLearning

The Not-for-Profits Certificate includes a mix of compulsory and elective short courses.  

The compulsory courses are: 

• Governance Essentials 
• Not-for-Profit Financial Management (* exemption – see note below) 
• Not-for-Profit Officers, Directors and the Board 
• Not-for-Profit Regulatory Compliance

You can complete any of these courses online or face-to-face. They are open entry with no prior qualification required. 

NOTE: CA ANZ members receive a special exemption from the Not-for-Profit Financial Management short course. But you must complete and pass the exam. Once you complete the five short courses and pass the six exams, you will obtain the Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits at a saving of $565. 

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity you will be able to: 

• Understand board relationships, robust processes, good decision-making, and the main elements of board operations. 
• Understand finance, strategy and risk for the NFP director. 
• Apply best approaches to governance to ensure effective stewardship of the organisation. 
• Apply strategic risk management and compliance processes in the governance of a NFP organisation.
