This activity explores the critical interaction skills needed to handle the communication and interpersonal challenges and opportunities most professionals encounter every day in the workplace.


This activity helps you communicate effectively so you can spark action in others. It introduces the interaction essentials you can leverage to handle the wide variety of challenges and opportunities you encounter every day in the workplace.

You will learn five key principles which enable you to attend to the personal needs of discussions, and build rapport and trust when interacting. You will also be introduced to the interaction guidelines which provide structure and focus to ensure your interactions lead to the desired practical outcomes.

Finally, you will learn best practices in providing feedback and be introduced to the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach to providing positive and developmental feedback.
