The Leederville Tax Training community, (now referred to as the Whale Shark Group) was created to serve tax, accounting and superannuation practitioners in and around Perth. Each session is tailored to the community with training topics chosen based on the community's demands and needs.


Participants join a training community for a full financial year, though we can accommodate new participants wishing to join communities mid-year.


This Tax Training Community is held monthly (excluding December & January).

The Leederville Tax Training community, (now referred to as the Whale Shark Group) typically runs on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Each session is held for 2 hours:


1 Hour - The Essential Tax and Superannuation Update covers key tax and superannuation developments including cases, legislation, ATO rulings, publications, and other announcements.


1 Hour – The Special Tax and Superannuation Topic is an informative, practical session that covers topical Australian tax and superannuation issues. The topic for each session is selected by the trainer based on feedback from participants of the Training Community.


The Special Tax & Superannuation Topics span the following categories:

Important note to members


With the recent implications of COVID-19 changing our day-to-day lives we have moved all our Onsite training groups to an engaging and interactive online experience with your regular presenter. 


Whilst we continue to support your training needs via the online platforms already in place, we do envision a transition back to our face-to-face sessions as and when it becomes safe for us to do so. This will of course be determined by many factors, led by advice from Government protocols and requirements. We will be in contact with you directly as we near those options.
