About

In this activity we explore recent research that demonstrates that emotions are contagious and our ways of managing and self-regulating our emotions can be largely ineffective. We will examine contemporary approaches to managing emotion contagion and self-regulation in the workplace, and provide effective strategies and tools to assist you to manage your own emotions and improve your self-regulation skills.


Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity you will be able to:

  • Discuss the neuroscience of emotion regulation.
  • Describe emotion contagion and how to manage it.
  • Follow the tools provided to manage your emotions more effectively.
