NSW Financial Planning Luncheon 2019

FASEA and the Hayne Royal Commission. They’re here. They’re big. And they’re happening…

What a huge start to 2019 for those CAs in financial advice!
Michael Croker CA, Leader of Australian Tax, Superannuation and Financial Advice at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

He is well placed to discuss the final report of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, due for release on 4 February 2019. Commissioner Hayne’s recommendations are likely to have substantial implications for the future of the industry, particularly in financial planning advice to Australians.

Bronny Speed FCA, Founding Director of AccountantsIQ and Leader of Financial Advice - Chartered Accountants, will be discussing exactly how you and your business will be impacted by the new FASEA standards. New entrants now have to have an ‘approved’ degree, existing advisers have to have a ‘relevant’ degree, our CA program is being assessed as a ‘professional designation’, CPD requirements are different, there’s a new ‘PY’…and we all have to pass an exam.
