Tax Training Communities 2023/24

This training community is made up of two sessions – a tax and superannuation update as well as a special tax and superannuation topic.


The tax and superannuation update covers key tax and superannuation developments, including cases, legislation, ATO rulings, publications and other announcements – as well as administrative and regulatory changes.


The special tax and superannuation topics informative and highly practical with each session exploring a different topical Australian tax or superannuation issue, to ensure that you keep up-to-date with the ever-changing and complex area of tax law.

  • Maximum impact in minimal time - This Tax Training Community includes a concise update session designed to cover the full range of both tax and superannuation developments in the relevant period, as well as a deep dive into a special topic.
  • Continuous relationship with a dedicated trainer - All training communities are assigned a lead CA ANZ tax & superannuation trainer who understands their training needs and with whom they can build a training relationship. The trainer can design a training strategy that is linked to the goals of the Training Community.
  • Customised solutions tailored to your community needs - Special topics for each training community are chosen by the trainer, in conjunction with attendees, based on relevance and importance to that specific community.
  • High quality materials - New and improved training materials supported by Thomson Reuters and enhanced by CA ANZ ensures that attendees are equipped with resources that they can apply to real-life client situations, and that training has been customised to the proficiency level in the room. All attendees will receive an extensive workbook to act as a reference in actively dealing with your client affairs back at the office.

  • Expert presenters - Virtual Training Communities are delivered by CA ANZ Tax & Superannuation Trainers to ensure that all training is highly informative and engaging. 

After attending the tax training community, participants should be able to:

  •  Identify the legislative and regulatory changes that may affect your clients and describe their impact
  • Interpret the implications of legislative and regulatory changes on client matters
  • Develop and formulate strategies that may assist in managing the effect of legislative and regulatory changes
  • Understand what tax and SMSF strategies are available for clients
  • Obtain the required practical knowledge to execute those strategies.

The tax training communities run at a frequency and length that is most beneficial to a community. Our current communities run either monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly, for 2-3 hours per session.

Pricing ranges between $630 - $1260 per person, per year depending on training frequency and session length. Each session lasts between 2-3 hours (2-3 CPD hours).
