This webinar introduces the climate leadership journey and climate risk basics. Details of the journey are:

  • Baselining: Calculate the greenhouse gas footprint of your company and products and map the material risks to your business;
  • Strategy and vision: Define a vision and strategy to embrace climate leadership as an opportunity based on material risks;
  • Target setting and pathways: Set stretching yet realistic goals such as Science Based Targets (SBTs), 100% Renewable Energy (RE100) or climate neutrality;
  • Mitigation and adaptation: Mitigate transition risks through emissions reductions, renewable energy and compensation, and adaptat to physical risks;

  • Advocacy: Explore innovations and collaborations to influence peers and customers on their climate leadership journeys.
  • Important implications of climate risk on regulation, directors’ duties, debt markets, equity markets, emissions reduction policy are also discussed.
