About
Cam McLeay is a world-renown adventure guide who has hosted Prince William, and guided some of the world’s wealthiest on their super-yachts. He narrated and featured in many documentaries including Joanna Lumley’s Nile, and 60-minutes (both Australia and New Zealand). He drove the lead car for Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear on one of their Africa specials. He is one of the world’s most experienced raft guides, and has led rafting expeditions on almost every continent.
He and his family lived in Uganda for a decade, and founded an adventure tourism business on the Nile. He (and his brother Brad) designed and built Wildwaters Lodge on a mid-stream island in the Nile.
In over 4-decades of guiding, especially on some of the world’s most challenging whitewater rivers, he has developed tools for assessing and managing risk.
