Winter Tax School | Interactive Online Workshop

COVID-19 has changed the way we interact, including at our Winter Tax School. For 2020, our Winter Tax School will continue to provide an interactive workshop experience, however that experience will be facilitated online.
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand is happy to advise we have finalised options for our Winter Tax School – Interactive Online Workshop 2020.

Facilitated by our team of expert tax trainers, the Winter Tax School – Interactive Online Workshop 2020 is designed to connect likeminded tax practitioners to discuss and problem solve current tax developments and issues.

What can you expect from this interactive online workshop?
  • Interactive case study-based learning using breakout rooms and virtual white boards to capture discussions
  • Group discussions and knowledge sharing lead by our team of expert tax trainers

As we aim to make this as convenient as possible for you, Winter Tax School – Interactive Online Workshop 2020 will be spread out across two half days so that you can actively participate and schedule it into your working day. Each half day will be further broken down into two sessions, with a half hour screen time break.

You will be placed into a table team for the case study-based learning elements of the workshop. If you register several people from your organisation, your team members can work together in groups of up to 5 participants provided this grouping has been requested prior to the workshop.

Please note: You will receive an email prior to the event with instructions on how to access the online event.
Workshop Learning Outcomes:
  • Evaluate key consulting issues for HWI and SBE/SME taxpayers for 2021 tax returns
  • Consider key compliance strategies for defence against ATO enquiries
  • Appraise key superannuation opportunities for HWIs to consider into June 2021
  • Evaluate other key tax issues for HWI and SBE/SME taxpayers
