Description
Change is constant, rapid and, at times, stressful. While the impact of change can be enormous at an organisational level, how do we cope with change at an individual level? How do we manage the feelings we have when a change is announced, and how do we avoid being overwhelmed by the uncertainty?
This session looks at the impact of change on us as individuals, and ways to build resilience and coping mechanisms in the face on constant change.
This session will enable you to:
- Understand change and the impact it has on individuals.

‘Normalise’ our reactions to it, deal with the stress of change, and prepare for future changes.
- It doesn’t guarantee that change won’t be impactful, but it will help in dealing with the stress of change situations.
By completing this session, you will be able to:
- Understand the different types of change and the causes of change.

Understand the individual reactions to change and why we sometimes feel a sense of loss.
- Discover a model that explains ‘normal’ reactions to change and how to recognise and move towards acceptance of change.
