Description
Many organisations understand the benefits of giving feedback to team members, and many organisations understand the need to create a culture of feedback within their business.
Unfortunately, many organisations have a great “feedback intent”, but never actually create a “feedback culture”. They talk about it, but never actually do it.
This session will enable you to:
- Build confidence, even when feeling nervous!
- Take control of the room and create a constructive environment
- Adjust your style to different audiences
- Handle questions with confidence
- Deal with the unexpected – interruptions, technical failures etc
- Encourage the audience to give you feedback and take action on your ideas
Upon satisfactory completion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the theory of rhetoric (persuasion)
- Understand the principles of logos (logic), ethos (credibility), pathos (emotional connection)
- Able to build message memorability with a range of emotional devices
- Able to build audience authority via the APGT Tool
- Able to grab attention with a business-appropriate ice breaker
- Able to respond to questions via TARE tool
