Who can complete a CA ANZ certificate?
Any accounting or finance professional looking to build recognised capability in a targeted area.
What's the difference between a micro course, certificate and microcredential?
Micro courses are short, self-paced learning experiences focused on a specific skill or topic.
Certificates are structured, cohort-based programs that blend digital learning, live workshops, assessment and peer engagement to build deeper capability.
Microcredentials are awarded upon successful completion of the certificate and provide credible proof of capability, represented by a digital badge.
What does "cohort-based" mean?
Cohort-based means you progress through the program alongside a group of peers, following a structured learning program. You attend scheduled workshops and learn collaboratively, rather than studying entirely on your own.
This approach creates a more engaging, supported learning experience and allows you to learn from both facilitators and fellow participants.
What happens if I can't attend a workshop?
You may miss up to one session and still qualify for the microcredential, provided all other requirements are met. If you miss more than one workshop, you won’t be eligible to complete the assessment.
This ensures participants gain the full knowledge and practical insights needed to complete the certificate with confidence.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll complete an open‑book online assessment at the end of the course to show your understanding of the key concepts. The assessment includes 20 questions drawn from all the micro courses, and you’ll have 90 minutes to finish.
To pass, you’ll need to score at least 80%. You’ll have up to three attempts in total, and if you don’t pass on your first try, you can take your remaining attempts anytime within the assessment window.
How do I earn a microcredential?
To earn a microcredential, you must miss no more than one workshop, complete the required digital learning, and pass the end-of-course assessment. Upon successful completion, you’ll be awarded a CA ANZ microcredential, including a digital badge you can share on LinkedIn.
When will I receive my CPD hours and will it be added to my CPD log?
CPD hours are awarded and verified after you complete the program, in line with CA ANZ CPD requirements.
Upon completion, you can add your CPD hours to your CPD log.
Once I have chosen my topic, where can I find more information about the specific cohort and schedule?
Once you have selected your desired cohort, you can find all the information on dates and live workshop timings under the “Agenda” tab.
